Southern African Leadership Training

     Southern African Leadership Training Institute (SALT) is a LIFEline Institute of Pacific Life Bible College (PLBC) in Surrey, Canada. A LIFEline institute is a satellite Bible College program that is under the direction and oversight of PLBC. SALT is under the covering of Pacific Life Bible College and the Foursquare Gospel Church.

     This means that students who study at SALT and complete their degree requirements and are in good standing, are awarded their degree through Pacific Life Bible College in Canada.

     SALT came into being as a result of the vision and passion of Tyler and Elizabeth Jorgensen in response to the expressed need for a Foursquare training institute by the National Leaders of the Foursquare churches across Southern Africa. SALT is based in Botswana and is a completely distance education program. The goal in the near future is to establish a facility in Gaborone, Botswana that will serve as the headquarters and Bible College facility for the growing program and for students to be able to study at the facility.

     SALT is completely run by a volunteer staff of Foursquare missionaries who are committed to providing excellence in education. Because there are no salaries to pay, all of the proceeds of SALT and all donations given go directly into equipping leaders and the ever expanding Bible College program.

     SALT is completely submitted to the spiritual oversight of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Canada, Foursquare Missions International, Pacific Life Bible College and the Regional Council of Foursquare Churches in Southern Africa.
